Preschool Screening- March 17, 2026, at Montrose Elementary School
The Montrose School District in cooperation with the Cornbelt Educational Cooperative and Head Start is pleased to announce a preschool screening scheduled for March 17, 2026, for all children from 3 to 5 years old.
The purpose of the screening project is to provide the parent/guardian and the school district with information relating to your child’s development.
Your child will be screened in the following areas: hearing, vision, motor, concepts, and communication.
If you have a child between the ages of birth and 2 years, 11 months old and want a developmental screening completed, please contact Shannon Nelson, Birth to 3 Service Coordinator at Shannon.Nelson@usd.edu or call (605) 202-0100.
The screening is the responsibility of the local school district and will be provided at no cost to all participating children.
You must bring your child’s birth certificate.
