About the presentation:

Join Registered Dietitian Anna for a virtual sports nutrition presentation. Many athletes do not understand the impact of nutrition on athletic performance, health and wellness. Nutrition is a key ingredient to optimizing athletic performance. Optimally fueling and refueling the body is essential to reaching an individual’s full athletic potential.

This presentation will cover:

·         How to optimally fuel your body for peak sports performance

·         How to build an athletes performance plate

·         Pre, during, and post exercise fueling

·         Hydration

·         Fueling to reduce injury and inflammation

Little about me:

Anna Heronimus is a Registered Dietitian at the Avera Human Performance Center in Sioux Falls, SD. Anna has worked with a variety of different athletes on improving their nutrition to fuel their bodies for their performance. This includes athletes who need help with: weight gain/loss, hydration injury recovery, supplement usage, pre/post fueling, food allergies and intolerances, GI upset with exercise, iron deficiency and irregular menstrual cycles.
