The Montrose FFA chapter will be continuing the Backpack Program this summer.
Construction Day Fun in the 3rd Grade! We covered the AREA and surrounded the PERIMETER measuring.
Several Montrose students will be participating in Donkey Basketball this Sunday, May 4, 2025, at 4:00 pm in the Canistota Gymnasium! Advance tickets can be purchased at the front office for $9. Tickets will cost $13 at the door.

Today's MCM Softball game against Gayville-Volin (in Gayville) has been moved to a 3:30pm start time for the Varsity game.
Today's JH Track Meet at Chester has been cancelled.
Today's JV Golf Tournament at Garretson has been cancelled.
Montrose had 12 students participating in 6 events at the Solo & Ensemble Contest held in Salem on April 26th, 2025. Students could participate in solos, ensembles, or both and rehearsed outside of their normal rehearsal and lesson times for this event. Students performed for a judge and received a rating. Montrose students achieved 4 superior ratings and 2 excellent ratings. CONGRATULATIONS!

Sign up for the Someone Special Dance! Please consider attending the student council hosted Someone Special Dance Friday April 25th from 6:30pm-8:00pm. The dance is for all BOYS and GIRLS grades preschool through 5th grade.

Seven 8th graders will represent Montrose at this afternoon's SDMEA Middle School Festival Choir performance. They've had a busy day of practicing and have done a wonderful job!
