HS Fall Sports Pictures have been rescheduled for Thursday, September 10th at 3:30pm in Salem.
Our volleyball match against Wagner on Saturday, August 29th has been moved to Montrose. We will follow the same schedule of matches, with the C match starting at 10:30 am.
The information below is in regards to our volleyball matches at Chester on Tuesday, September 1st.
Chester Area School is allowing every player/coach/stat on each team to bring 6 people to events at their school. Students in grades K-12 are automatically let in (don’t need a ticket). Chester is not giving out physical tickets, they are using the honor system, and ask that each person that comes falls within the limit of 6 patrons per person on the volleyball roster. You will still be charged regular admission at the gate.
Chester recommends a mask, but doesn’t mandate them.
Nobody will be allowed to sit behind the team’s benches or the scorer’s table.
If you are traveling to Chester from the south (464th Avenue; road from Hartford into Chester), there is a detour (about two miles south of Chester) in which you take about three miles of gravel (1 mile east then first gravel road north; it will say minimum maintenance road for about 1.5 miles; you will then hit 241st street which will take you into Chester).
Our Volleyball match tomorrow, August 25th, against BE-E will be played in EMERY. The C Match will begin at 5:00pm.
Due to the dangerous heat in the forecast, the following football games have been postponed.
* JV vs Beresford | Monday, August 24 | 4:30pm at Beresford
* 7-8 vs Beresford | Tuesday, August 25 | 4:30pm at Montrose
We will look for alternate dates and update you if those get rescheduled.
We have replaced our originally scheduled JV football game against Flandreau, which was cancelled, with a game on the same date/time against West Central.

There will be a Cross Country meeting in Salem at the Track & Field complex on Monday, June 29 starting at 7:00 pm for all students in grades 7-12 that plan to participate this upcoming season.
