SDHSAA Officials Appreciation Week for our match against Canistota. Our Student Council presented the Officials with a gift card to the Office Bar to grab a bite to eat after the match.

A select group of Montrose Choir members performed in Beresford on Monday for the Big East Honor Choir!
Our football team will be playing in the Quarterfinal Round of state playoffs on Thursday, Oct 27 against Mt. Vernon/Plankinton at 7:00pm. The game will be played in Mt. Vernon.
The 3rd graders completed their Personal Narrative writing unit and celebrated with Camp-Share-A-Lot day. They each were able to read their story by the campfire and enjoyed frozen s'mores!
The Montrose School District would like to thank Audrey Cleveland for her generous donation in memory of her husband Bob. The school has purchased two portable basketball hoops that will be located in the playground. Thank you Audrey, your donation is greatly appreciated.

Congratulations to Will Cleveland for his winning entry into the JFLF welding competition! Will was a Regional winner, receiving a $500 check. His project was a side table, completed during his Welding 2 class.
On Thursday, Oct. 20th we will be hosting the 1st Round of football playoffs at Gene Danielsen field in Salem against Sioux Valley. Game time will be 7:00pm. This is now a SDHSAA event, so no local passes will be accepted. Prices will be $7 for adults and $5 for students.
