Congratulations to the Montrose Marching Band for placing 2nd in the Class B-Traditional Division at the Watchdog Marching Festival today in Beresford. There was some tough competition against Menno today, but every week we are improving! Look for the Montrose Marching Band at the Lake Area Festival of Bands in Chester on October 6th!

On Friday, September 29th, the Montrose High School Band will be competing at the Watchdog Marching Festival in Beresford. Bands will compete as traditional or show. We are competing in Class B – Traditional. There are 28 total groups that will be marching on Friday ranging in age from middle school to college. (Augustana University will be featured at the end of the parade) It will be a great parade – featuring a lot of great bands from around our area! If you would like to catch the Montrose Marching Band, our approximate time will be between 10:40-10:50 am. The parade steps off at 10 am, and we are the 11th group to go. We appreciate your support -- Go Montrose Music!

The Ag Processing class has been working with Montrose FFA's apiary. We collected the "supers" off the hive in order to harvest the honey our bees have worked hard to produce.
